The National Innovation Fund develops active international partnerships aimed at integrating the Bulgarian innovation ecosystem into the European and global research and innovation landscape, as well as providing access to additional sources of funding and expertise.

European Cooperation

The NIF participates in joint initiatives and programmes of the European Union, including:

• EUREKA Network – through participation in international projects and the Eurostars programme, supporting innovative small and medium-sized enterprises
• Horizon Europe – ensuring coordination and synergy with European funding instruments for research and innovation
